Hepatic hemangioma is a benign tumor which is never transformed to a malignant on. In the vast majority of cases there is no need for any intervention even in much larger hemangiomas than yours. Usually, hemangiomas are not affected by estrogens (unlike other hepatic tumors as FNH and adenomas) and therefore there is no association between hormonal treatment and hemangiomas. In very few cases there are estrogen receptors in the cells of the hemangioma and they can enlarge a bit during pregnancy. In any case, there is no problem or contra-indication for the usage of contraceptives as well as hormone therapy used for IVF , especially with hemangimas of that size (not "giant" hemangiomas

there is some risk of bleeding with direct trauma especially with "giant" or very large hemangiomas. However, with the hemangioma you described there is no risk of bleeding due to fetal growth. Such an enevt is extremely rare.
