Lung biopsy

the results of the ct are suspicios for lung cancer
many times biopsy does not yield a definite answer
3 weeks is
a long time one should know by now if there were tumor cells
the doctor who sent for the biosy should soon decide - if it is a negative biopsy
should he send for antoher biopsy - as we do in many suspicious cases or
just do a follow up since the lesion is not that suspicipus

How can the doctor decide if the lesion is suspicious or not if the cytology results came negative?
What is the pathology test for?
The doctor that my father goes to is Dr Fruchter who used to participate in this forum – do you know how I can contact him ( the problem is that I’m not in Israel at the moment, obviously worried a lot, and my father’s Hebrew is not that good – he’s a native Russian speaker) .
And another problem that we cannot even make an appointment because of the shvita.
