genital herpes question

about 2 months ago i had first breakout. wounds have long gone however ever since i have strange feeling in the groin area, like stabbing pain, or very cold/burning sensation, especially after just rubbing with my husband not even chadira. then later it pulsate with hot flashes..do i have neurological damage?are those known symptoms , i have*nt read about it in the net..should i go to neurologist?i*m pretty desperate dont know what to do, thank you very much for answer
