Shadows on the lungs

Hi,
I have not got the Hebrew fonts- sorry ! You can answer in Ivrit.
My father is 80 year old, has been smoking for a long time and quit 6 years ago, now has some upper back pains (on the right) for 4 months.
He did not go to the doctor as he previously had some arthritic pains and thought it could be related.
He had an X-ray a couple of weeks ago and they found some shadows on the lungs. He then was referred for the CT scan and the lungs function test.
He had the CT yesterday, got the tape, the description will follow in 2 weeks time. There seems to be a long wait for the lungs function test.
Can he go back to the doctor only with the tape or he needs the description ? Is the lungs function test necessary for the diagnosis ?
How urgent is it – we are all obvioulsy concerned about the possibility of the tumour.
Could you please recommend a Russian speaking pulmonologist in the Gush Dan area - my father is in Kupat Holim Klalit, lives in Petah Tiqwa and his Ivrit is not that great.
