SYNOVIAL SARCOMA+גרורות בריאות

My wife , Lea Ben Hamo , 41 years old female.
She was diagnosed with Synovial sarcoma, biphasic type in her left foot at October 2005.
MRI imaging showed a tumor 8x6x5 cm with involvement of the metatarsus bone.
Body CT scan and bone showed no evidence of systemic disease.
She went under amputation of left foot in the same month. Pathology was as above with free margins.
In December 2005 she started adjuvant chemotherapy and received 4 cycles of Adreamycin 75mg/m2 and Ifosfamide 6000mg/m2.
The treatment was ended in March 2006.Chest CT scan performed in July, showed suspicion of small lung metastasis in both lungs.
The CT scan was repeated in October 2006 and showed enlarged metastasis and a new lesion in the lung. Chest surgery was excluded.
In October 2006 she started high dose Ifosfamide of 12000mg/m2.
Repeated Chest CT scan performed after 2 and 4 cycles showed stable disease in the lung.
In May 2007 she started chemotherapy treatment , combination of Gemcitabine 1400mg and Docotaxel 170mg.
CT scan performed after After 2 cycles showed tumor progression .
She was advised to receive DTIC chemotherapy treatment .
